Setting up your Fully Branded PartnerSite

Creation of a reseller account gives you access to four white labelled websites:

1. Supersite Storefront

2. Customer Control Panel

3. PartnerSite

4. Reseller Control Panel

What is a PartnerSite?

A PartnerSite is a complete private-labeled website that can be used to jumpstart any wholesale business. It is a website operated by a business partner. The PartnerSite has a significant Reseller Oriented look with new advanced features and benefits.

Partially Branded URLs

By default, the ResellerClub provides Partially Branded URLs for the PartnerSite. Those URLs can be used to display your products and services. sThese are the Default URLs.

The prefix of your Partially Branded URLs can be changed according to your choice according to your company name or brand name. The following process needs to be followed in order to change the prefix:

  1. Login to the Reseller Control Panel.
  2. Navigate to the Menu.
  3. In the Menu, select Settings and then click on Branding Settings.
  4. Click on the SuperSite and PartnerSite tab.
  5. Click on the PartnerSite link.
  6. Click on “Customize PartnerSire”.
  7. Locate the “Brand URLs” section on the page.
  8. Click on “ChangePrefix” link.
  9. Now enter your desired prefix in the field “Specify your branded prefix for all URLs”. The default partially branded prefix is made up of the first four letters of your username and your Reseller ID.
  10. Click on the Update button.
  11. When you submit this, the prefix would be assigned, and all your Partially Branded URLs would get the same prefix.

Fully Branded URLs

An alternative to Partially Branded URL is setting up a Fully Branded URL.

Fully branded URLs can be used to point your own URLs to the servers. You can have as many Fully Branded URLs as you wish. Relevant DNS records need to be created for each of the fully Branded URLs you create. This should be kept in mind.

How to Setup your Fully Branded PartnerSite URL

To convert your Partially Branded URL into a Fully Branded PartnerSite URL, you will need to create an A record for your brand name to point to a particular IP.

How to Setup the URL Within the Control Panel:

  1. Login to your Reseller Control Panel.
  2. Navigate to the Menu.
  3. Go to Settings and then click on Branding Settings.
  4. Click on the SuperSite and PartnerSite tab.
  5. Click on the PartnerSite link.
  6. Scroll down and locate the “Fully Branded URL” section.
  7. In the “Fully Branded URL” section under Brand URLs, specify your Primary Domain Name.
  8. If you wish to specify any additional URLs to your PartnerSite, you can specify them after clicking the Point additional Domain Names (or Subdomains) to the PartnerSite link.
  9. You will need to create a separate A record that points to ResellerClub servers.
  10. Then click on the Update button.

By default, Partially Branded URLs are provided for the different white labelled websites. You can find these Partially Branded URLs within your Reseller account.

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Click on Branding Settings.
  3. Now navigate to SuperSite and PartnerSite Tab.
  4. Then click on PartnerSite.
  5. Now click on Customer PartnerSite link.
  6. Under the Branding Settings column, navigate to the Control Panel.
  7. Specify and review the Customer URL and Sub-Reseller URL.

Steps to rebrand the default Partially Branded URLs:

  1. Navigate to “Branded URL Prefix” under Branded Settings.
  2. Specify the branded prefix under the “Specify your branded prefix for all URLs” field.
  3. Now click on the Update button.
  4. A message “Prefix modified successfully” appears on the screen.

Your custom domain name can be used to rebrand your Partially Branded URLs. Steps to follow if the domain name is within your own Reseller account and is assigned the orderbox nameservers:

  1. Navigate to settings -> Branding settings.
  2. Now navigate to SuperSite and PartnerSite Tab.
  3. Then click on PartnerSite.
  4. Now click on the “Customize PartnerSite” link.
  5. Search for the Fully Branded URL field and specify your primary domain name.
  6. Before clicking on the link “Point additional domain names” copy the IP address in the step 2 below the link.
  7. Then click on the update button.
  8. A message “Branding URLs modified successfully” appears on the screen.
  9. Locate the “Products” tab at the top left corner of the web page.
  10. Click on the “Products” tab.
  11. Under the “Products” tab, right click on “List All Orders” option and select “Open link in new tab”.
  12. “List of Orders” web page opens in a new tab.
  13. Locate the domain name that you just created and click on it.
  14. Scroll down and find the “DNS Management” section.
  15. Under the “DNS Management” section, click on the “Configure Now” link.
  16. Now click on the “Fix Name Servers Automatically” button.
  17. Just below this button, you will find the “Manage DNS” link.
  18. Click on that “Manage DNS” link.
  19. A new window called “List” pops up.
  20. Locate and click on the “Add A record” button.
  21. Enter “partner” in the Host Name field.
  22. Next, paste the IP address that you had copied in step 6 into the “Destination IPv4 Address” field.
  23. Then click on the “Add Record” button.

Congratulations, you have now set up your Fully Branded PartnerSite and you are good to go!
